Steps to - Increase Concentration

1.Try to recognize these distractions and take care of them...
Internal distractions such as thoughts, emotions, physical feelings, hunger and tiredness can interrupt your ability to focus. Do something about the things that are bothering you before you start the task at hand. For instance, if you know that you are hungry, eat before you
start a task.
2.Stop distracting thoughts that pop into your mind as soon as you
are aware of them...
You can do this by “noticing” the thought, and then consciously bringing your attention back to the task at hand.
3.Keep a reminder pad handy...
If something that you have to do pops into your head, jot it down to get it off your mind.
4.Use a pencil or highlighter...
Taking notes or highlighting key points are ways to keep yourself actively involved in
a task such as reading.
5.Plan breaks according to your concentration span...
You are not a machine. Taking a walk or a lunch break will help clear your head.
6.If you find yourself losing focus, stand up...
The physical
act of standing up brings your attention to the fact that you’re losing focus. It lets you stop the process and bring your thinking back to the task at hand.

Steps to - Forget Things

1.Understand why you remember the issue...
It really is mostly because you aren't finished with it, or that you want to do something, such as undo it, repair it or even forget it (therein lies the problem). These actually enforce the need to remember.
    2.Consider how you remember...
Do the thoughts just happen, or do they happen on a stimulus, such as seeing, hearing (etc) something connected to the event? It can be quite subtle.
Its very important to find out how you remember. Sometimes a feeling will prompt that memory to make new feelings. Its very much like a groove we just go into, and also like a linked chain or a line of dominoes all linked together.
3.Find out if it possible to remove the stimulus...
If you wish to forget a sad event, yet have symbols and images related to event, it is virtually impossible to forget. In this case, put those objects away, or redecorate and make a fresh start. There is a good grain of practical wisdom to the old quote "out of sight, out of mind".
4.Find out if it is because you want to forget it, to destroy the memory or the event itself...
Do you want to remember something in order to venerate or respect someone, or something? Do you want justice or vengeance for your pains? In order to want to do something, you have to have & retain the object of that wanting. It literally means that the "wanting" feelings and the "object" (being the memory) require and support each other. They cannot exist on their own.
5.Understand the context of the memory...
In order to forget it, you must be prepared to let it go. The way to do it always depends on the context. If you feel obliged to remember something, but wish to forget it, then evaluate the benefit of the continued review of that memory. If it is about a tragedy in your family or friends, can you love them enough to forgive and move on? If you have an embarrassing or a regret based memory, are you prepared to learn from it, to satisfy your mind that you will be mindful not to repeat that mistake? If it is something that you strive for justice or revenge, are you prepared to move on and no longer let the past poison your life? The story of | Romeo & Juliet is filled with examples of vendetta as none could forgive and forget until it was too late.
6.Commit, for the true solution is hard work...
Firstly, accept the event happened, forgive it and yourself and let it go.If necessary, do talk to someone. Be it a friend, counselor or a therapist. Hypnosis & meditation may help some cases as a way to train the mind.
7.After that, stop wanting to have anything to do with the object or theme...
Be bored with it, disenchanted with it, and/or remind yourself the benefit of letting go. This is the hard part as its like removing a much loved toy from a child, the child is not going to enjoy it, but eventually the child will become accustomed to putting their toys away. Its really the same thing, you must put your memories away by being prepared to put them away and move on. Be patient & kind with yourself & others.

Steps to - Save Money on Gas

1.Fill up when your tank is 3/4 empty...
This saves you money because you’re hauling a lighter load—and gives you ample time to take advantage of a bargain if you spot one. But don’t wait until you’re running on fumes to gas up, as this can damage the electric fuel pump.

2.Buy gas early in the morning...
That’s when the ground where gas tanks are stored is cool. The cooler the ground temperature, the more dense the gas, meaning you’ll get what you pay for. (When the mercury soars, gas expands and what is measured as a gallon at the pump is actually slightly less.)

3.And try to hit the pump midweek...
Gas prices will sometimes rise on Thursday, as demand by weekend drivers increases, writes Vera Gibbons at walletpop.com. Your best shot at finding the lowest prices is usually at midday on Tuesday or on Wednesday morning.

                      4.Choose the right octane level...
Check your owner’s manual, but unless you have a high-performance car, you should stick with regular octane gas. As the Federal Trade Commission points out, filling up with high-octane products generally won’t increase anything but your bill at the pump.

                      5.Keep your tires maintained...
Ensuring they are properly inflated and aligned can increase gas mileage up to 3 percent, claims the FTC.

                      6.Don’t drive aggressively...
Department of Energy statistics cited at walletpop.com show that for each mile you drive at over 60 miles per hour, you are essentially paying an additional ten cents per gallon. And erratic acceleration and braking can waste an additional 50 cents a gallon. Slow and steady wins this race.

                      7.Park in the shade...
Gasoline evaporates out of your tank, and it does so more quickly when you’re parked in direct sunlight, no matter the season. And in the summer, parking in the shade means you’ll need less A/C to cool things off when you return to your car. So pull into a shady space, and to further minimize evaporation, make sure the seal on your tank is tight.

8.Use A/C only on the highway...
Air conditioning can burn roughly 8% of your fuel. So when driving at lower speeds, open the windows instead, advises wikihow.com. While doing so increases drag, the resulting loss in fuel efficiency won’t be as great as if you had the A/C cranked. Better yet, open the vents.
